First get the data out of the old calendar:
Then import that file into the new calendar:
Why would I want more than one data file?
With multiple data files you can have different calendars for different areas of your life. For example you could have a work calendar and a personal calendar. It could also be useful if more than one user shares the same login, each can have their own set of events.
Data files can be managed on the "Data" tab in the settings, see below for more detail.
What's the difference between "User" and "Machine"?
If you select the data store to be "User", the data file will only be accessible to the user who is currently logged in. If you choose "Machine" the data file is accessible by anyone who logs onto the computer.
For example, everyone in a family could have their own private calendar as well as a family one that everyone can see and add to.
To switch between them, open the settings and click on the "Data" tab. Then select either "User" or "Machine". Note how the available data files in the drop down list below changes. Click "OK" to apply the setting.
How do I create a new data file?
