Timed Shutdown can be used to automatically Shutdown, Hibernate, Lock, Log Off and Suspend your computer. This means your machine doesn't have to be on any longer than necessary, prolonging its lifespan and saving power. You can either specify a particular date and time, or use the timer to set the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds you want to wait. The program hides in the system tray when running so it can be easily monitored and aborted if circumstances change. It also uses a final countdown to eliminate unexpected shutdowns if the computer is use at the time. You can also run the program with a command line for use at the end of a batch file, or from a shortcut with predefined settings.
