Desktop Calendar 7.0.0.6 brings week numbers, month changing animations, compact mode and more:
- Added week numbers on large calendar
- Scroll\fade effects added when changing between months
- You can now manually or automatically compact the calendar to just the title bar
- Added option to use plain backgrounds on large calendar
- Events on each day are now ordered alphabetically
- Added option of how many days in advance to be alerted of events
- Time format now defaults to the standard for your region e.g. 12/24 hour (changeable in the settings)
- Added option to hide the time
- Three definitions of first week of year (First 4-day week, Starts on Jan 1st, First full week)
- Added option to show alert window even if there are no upcoming events (now the default)
- Replaced clicking of time to change 12/24 hour to option in the settings
- Sharpened top edges on large calendar skin
- Renamed "Show Extra Days" option to "Show days from previous and next months"
- Added new "Style" tab in the settings
- The last tab viewed in the settings is now remembered
- Put a more friendly error when importing a newer data file into an old version of the calendar
- BUG FIX: Fixed repeated dates around Daylight Savings issue in Brazil regions
- BUG FIX: Box spacing on large calendar for days from the previous month
- BUG FIX: Occasional character encoding issue when importing from 0.5x or 0.4x data files
- BUG FIX: Sometimes calendar would not update if data file was changed outside of calendar
- BUG FIX: Error when renaming\deleing a data file on the file system, then opening and saving settings
- BUG FIX: When importing yearly events from legacy data files events would not be back dated
- BUG FIX: Made Yearly repeating Birthday\Anniversary events behave correctly on leap year days
- BUG FIX: When editing a monthly repeating event the repeat frequency would default back to "1"
- BUG FIX: Disabling the "Play Sounds" option now also mutes the alert window chime
